Formed by local dance enthusiasts Amy Rodriguez and Doreen Stewart, with encouragement and support from Patty & Wayne Bridges, Steve Apple, and many others, the South Florida Zydeco Society was formed with the intent to educate and encourage zydeco music and dance in South Florida.
